An Ongoing Educational Journey: From Student to Teacher
Dr. Yang's educational journey reflects his dedication to comprehensive patient care. He earned his undergraduate degree in psychology from Emory University and subsequently pursued a doctorate in dental surgery from the prestigious Columbia University College of Dental Medicine. His commitment to a holistic approach led him to also obtain his medical degree from the University of Maryland School of Medicine. Throughout his illustrious career, Dr. Yang completed residencies in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the University of Maryland Medical Center/R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center and in plastic and reconstructive surgery at The Johns Hopkins Hospital. His pursuit of excellence continued with a pediatric craniofacial/plastic surgery fellowship at the renowned Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, culminating in his appointment to the Johns Hopkins faculty in 2019. Dr. Yang's accolades include numerous awards and honors, reflecting his outstanding contributions to the field.
